Encouragement Dump Truck

I was reading about the story with Elisha and the widowed women desperate to save her family.  Although our stories vary greatly I can somewhat relate.  She in some respects had lost hope and was unsure how God was going to come through.  I believe with all my heart God desires me to do this trip Around the World in 80 days...but my jars are just not full.....praying about additional fundraisers besides the ones already planned.

I also wonder about the women...what if she had asked the entire town and neighboring towns for jars to fill up to and bless others?  Please pray with me on this.  That God would fill my jars with the means to go on this trip, that I can pay down my debts through careful spending/saving, and that I would have finances for the extended outreach portion of my trip where I hope to work with orphans....it would also be incredible to have additional funds so that if my teammates are also struggling to raise support I might also help them or if there is a need for these missionaries we'll be working alongside we can bless them as well.  Its a lot to ask but I know God has all the funds in the world. 

If you think of it also pray for my 2013 teammates and their support-raising efforts.  For focus these next few weeks with the Jumble for Jesus Rummage Sale, that the word would get out, and that people might even get to know Jesus through this crazy sale for my trip.  For rest, peace, and God's love and encouragement to pour out like a dump truck.

Life is Messy

Been going through some challenging and discouraging stuff lately but soooo grateful to know God is right there in all the mess and refinement and yuckiness of life.  Would really appreciate words of encouragement,  wisdom, random jokes, etc.  Please lift this sister up in prayer!  I know God is crazy about me about you about all of us and He's got this all but oye vey!
